Two time STATE contender

Coelton went to state 2 times his senior year and competed in the 5-A division. He also has received 2 Varsity Letters.   He went to state with Cross Country to Cour de lane and then went for Track to BSU stadium.
His team took 4th place in Cross Country and 6th place in the 4x800 relay for track.
We are so proud of him.  He gets a STATE hoodie each time.  I had to post the pictures of these trophies.

Coelton's coach wrote a letter of recommendation for a scholarship he was applying for.  This a some of what he wrote.
"Coelton is one of the hardest working individuals that I have ever came across in my 24 years of coaching.  Coelton's rise to one of the top runners in Idaho is truly the result of hard work, motivation, descipline, setting goals, and the willingness to listen and take direction.  THese characteristics all carry over in the classroom as well as outside of the classroom.
In addition to being an outstanding runner, and more importantly Coelton is an outstanding person.  Where as some individuals can get caught up with themselves when they achieve success Coelton is the opposite.  He is always humble and always willing to lend a hand to those in need.
I have been lucky to be able to coach Coelton over the past three years and see him grow into the person that he is today.  Coelton is one of those student-athlete's that you hate to see go.  However, Coelton has much bigger and better opportunities ahead."
