Trek- Activity Days Camp- LDS night with the Mariners!

Wild Waves and Jam!

We were so sad when we first came to Smoqualmie!  Lots and lots of crying.  Thanks for some great ward members who invited us to Wild Waves theme park, we were able to get out of the sad apartment for a day and enjoy some fun.  It was really awkward, as no one really talked to us, but we had a good time just getting out.
Heide Howell really helped our family get involved!  She kept inviting us places and checking on us even though we would always say no. (cause we were so depressed).  We did get out one day and picked strawberries and made jam!  It was great to do what we did in Idaho.  We miss our raspberry bushes so much.

Joel's Birthday

What a bummer birthday 2013 was.  Joel turned 44 on May 29.  However, that was also the day that he drove to Washington with the moving trucks.  He and Caden drove over in the Prius and helped unload and get us moved into our apartment.
The night before he left we did have some pathetic birthday cupcakes that someone brought over.  It was so sweet of who ever it was!!  I can't remember!!
Austin Nelson and Elias Lines came over and we say in the empty living room and ate cupcakes on the carpet.

Summer Time 2013

I'm not going to lie.  The Summer of 2013 was very difficult for us.  We were lost, scared and homesick.  Thank goodness for a beautiful place to live and a swimming pool at the apartment complex!  One day the chloe and a friend saw a mouse swimming in the pool, so the maintenance man killed it right in front of them!!  We went hiking, Chloe had an Activity Day for Girls Camp that I volunteered at.  We went to Seattle and ate at Ivar's and fed the Seagull's.  Chloe got a new bike, we went to Wild Waves theme park with some ward members, and we went to LDS night at the Matiners!!  Super cool night to watch Baseball.  We loved it.
