First visit to Seattle

So Joel's firm came to him and told him that they weren't going to invest in Boise anymore, so basically he should consider moving or travel more.
We decided to look around the valley and see what our options would be.  We didn't want to move.  After a few months we decided that we should buy into an accounting firm.
Meanwhile the firm told Joel that they needed him in Seattle and they would promote him to a director with the likelihood that he would be an MD in 2 years.  This spiked our interest and we decided that it was worth a trip over to scope it out to see if we could possibly live in Seattle.
The first night we went to The Adams Family Broadway play. The firm gave us tickets and we decided we were up for that so we went and actually really liked it...except for the Mothers dress didn't leave anything to the imagination.
We stayed downtown Seattle in a nice hotel.  The picture of the old building is our hotel.  We went to Pikes Pier to the market.  It was fun to see the Puget Sound and was funny we say Salmon fish from Idaho.  The city was certainly a city...reminded me of San Fransisco.  The streets are on steep hills!  Joel's office is in one of the buildings in the picture of all the city.
I didn't like it at all...none of it.  It was fun to visit but certainly not to live.  We drove around with a realtor who took us to some nice places, but I was so put off by what money can buy and I got car sick driving around all day in the back seat of the realtor's car.   We just stayed one night and I was so happy to be back in Idaho.
So...my vote was no way hose'.
