Second trip to Seattle- January 4, 2013

So...The firm told Joel he should bring his family to Seattle and see what they think.  We thought, "well, at least we get a free trip and the kids can fly!" 

So January 4 we skeedadled to Seattle. 

We stayed in Issaquah at a Hilton.  When we first arrived we drove around and it was a beautiful sunny day!  The kids loved what they saw, but Joel and I were still uncertain how we could afford to live there. 

We went to Pikes Place Market and to the Aquarium. 

We mostly drove around a lot and looked at houses.  We drove up to Snoqualmie and couldn't believe how beautiful it was!  We looked at some spec houses and liked what we saw. 

We decided to try out a ward that we figured would live in that area.  But we ended up in a Issaquah ward.  We went to see a movie...Life of Pi.  A highlight for Chloe was going to the American Girl store.

This trip I felt peaceful and calm.  The kids were all happy and we began to wonder if this was what we are supposed to do.
