Caden celebrated his 18th birthday on the Mariner of the Seas in the Caribbean sea. His mission call was in Meridian Idaho waiting for him. It arrived on March 7! I tried to talk him into letting bishop Simpson open it and scan it over to the ship and let him read it on his birthday! But he decided to wait. The cruise was his Senior trip and a birthday gift all in one. He was rather spoiled. The only problem was there wasn't anyone his age to hang out with . I think the adults got a little boring for him. At dinner the waiters all sang to him and he got special desserts. During the day he was in a dodge ball competition with Dad and his Uncles. The announcer stopped the game and had everyone sing happy birthday to Caden!
