Both worked hard and had outstanding seasons. All in all I think we went to 14 meets. The weather was good this year. A little on the hot side when the season began, but cooled to a nice crisp day at the end. Perfect for running.
Caden had a goal to run a 18:50 race. He runs a 5-k which is 3 miles. His fastest time this year was 19:26. He will get there next year and will train throught the summer months. He is a beautiful runner.
Hailey had a goal of 10:30 and her fastest time this year was 10:44. Almost! She runs a mile and a half. She has a goal to be at 10 minutes next year as an 8th grader. She will run all summer too and train hard.
We are so proud of our kids and the hard work they put into this. It is not easy, but they do it and they do it well. Good job!!
