We just added a 3rd teenager to our family. Hailey turned 13 on October 15.
We began the day by dragging her out of bed and blindfolding her. We took her to Cafe Express for breakfast. Then she went shopping for a few hours to pick out her new birthday clothes. It seems that is the hot item for teenage girls. clothes.
She is in 7th grade. She plays piano and clogs. She is on a champ team for Idaho Rhythm. She also is a good student and her best friend in Payton Falash. She likes to run XC and Track and her favorite color is lime green. She loves zebra print anything and likes" Letters to Juliette". She loves to listen to Taylor Swift music.
She recently loomed 5 beanie winter hats for the missionaries in our area for a christmas gift.
We are so thankful that Heavenly Father blessed us with Hailey. She is a delight and such a wonderful daughter. We love you Hailey.

XC 2011
We had another great XC season. Caden ran on JV for the mights Mountain View Mavericks. And Hailey ran for the brave Lake Hazel Cherokees.
Both worked hard and had outstanding seasons. All in all I think we went to 14 meets. The weather was good this year. A little on the hot side when the season began, but cooled to a nice crisp day at the end. Perfect for running.
Caden had a goal to run a 18:50 race. He runs a 5-k which is 3 miles. His fastest time this year was 19:26. He will get there next year and will train throught the summer months. He is a beautiful runner.
Hailey had a goal of 10:30 and her fastest time this year was 10:44. Almost! She runs a mile and a half. She has a goal to be at 10 minutes next year as an 8th grader. She will run all summer too and train hard.
We are so proud of our kids and the hard work they put into this. It is not easy, but they do it and they do it well. Good job!!

Marjorie Merrill Judy
My Grandma Judy passed away September 20. She was 93 years old. She lived a long full life and was strong to the end. She began to loose her memory and over several months it became worse. She could no longer live by herself and lived with my uncle Doug and Aunt Terry for a short period of time. She then was placed in a nursing home, where she was when she passed away. She lived there for only a few months.
My memories of Grandma are dear to my heart. Most of them are at the Judy Reunion. I remember making crafts with her and she would tell us stories of when she was a little girl. She would tell us to not pick the wild flowers! I remember going to her house on Sunday afternoons for a visit and we would sit in the living room and I loved to look at her cupboards full of pretty glass and porcelain figures. I remember the entrance to the house was a small mud room and there was a sink with square knobs to turn on the water. That little sink was so neat. She also had pictures of all the grand kids in her den. I loved to go in there and look at all the pictures. She always knew everyone's name. She had like 40 grand kids and who knows how many great grand kids.
The Christmas eve parties at Grandma's are also fond memories I have. I remember she had an old man's head that hung on her wall and when you pulled on his tie he would laugh and spit at you. It scared me.
I remember walking upstairs in Grandma's house on a dare and only seeing what was up there once. My cousins Merrilee and Brenda and myself found some really neat closets in Grandma's basement that we loved to play in...even though we weren't supposed to.
I remember the Easter parties at her house and the cousins would play red rover red rover and British bulldog until the sun went down. We would also crawl along the house and the bushes in the tunnels. That was really run. We always had an Easter egg hunt too. The barns and sheds near the house were fun to explore and wonder around.
Coelton's surgery was scheduled on the day of her funeral so we weren't able to make it. I am sad about that and would have liked to see everyone and say good-bye to Grandma Judy.
I'm so happy for her and know she is with Grandpa and they are together after so long apart.
