Joel's baby brother, Jason, lives in Nampa with his family.  They are our only family that live near us.   They have 4 children, (1 girl, 4 boys) and were expecting #5 when Stephanie's water broke at 24 weeks.  She had to be admitted to the hospital and stay on bed rest until the baby was born.   8 weeks later Ammon was born weighing 4 lbs 3 oz.  16.5 inches long. 

We had the kids stay at our house over the weekend.  They are very excited about the new baby.  Unfortunatley, he is in the NICU and only 4 visitors, 18 years and over, are admitted.  He will be released in 4 weeks.   Stephanie was released today and is able to go home now.  The kids will be so happy to have Mommy home!

A little Hammer Trivia:  Joel was born one day after his Dad's b-day.  He got his Dad's name for his middle name.  Joel Gary Hammer.

Ammon was also born one day after his Dad's b-day and got his Dad's name for his middle name.
