Grandma and Grandpa Hammer visit

Seminary Friends

Preschool on the Ridge

I dove into another year of preschool fun!  Since Washington is much more expensive than Idaho, I could charge more and didn't have to have as many students.  I had a class of 6.  It was perfect and a sweet group.  We had all girls and one boy.  We had a fun year filled with wonder, learning, and fun!
Nova, Indie, Brighton, Anastasia, Kai, Avery, Josie.

ES squared- Board Meeting and couples retreat

Joel sits on Justin's board for his company ES-2.  He attends a few meetings through the year and helps them with building their business.  Justin had a big board meeting in Park City.  It was a couples retreat, so I got to go too.  We stayed at a resort and had a great time at the Olympic Park.  We rode the Apline slide and the chair lift.

XC at Mt Si High School

Hailey had a great XC season.  She started out on JV but was able to run a couple of varsity races at the end of the year.  She worked hard and ran hard.  I think her times were 22-23 minutes.  She has a great time socializing and enjoys running.  The XC program isn't as strong as it is in Boise, so it was very different for her.  But she did a good job and persevered!  Looking forward to next year!

4th grade and Freshman

School started after labor day in September.  We did our tradition adopted from Aunt Jill.  We pretend we are lunch ladies and serve the kids like a school cafeteria.  They think it's so cool.  Even our returned missionary played along...he was going to back to school too.
Hailey is a Freshman at Mt Si High School.  Lucky for her she got to attend her freshman year at the freshman campus.  She didn't attend the main campus...only for choir and sports.
And lucky her she is now a Wild Cat!  Black and Red.  Just like High School Musical.

Chloe is a mighty 4th grader at Fall City Elementary.  Her teacher is Mrs. Young.

BYU Idaho or Bust!

Looser me...No good pics for this post.  After having Coelton home for a few short weeks, it was time to drive to Rexburg and set him up for fall and winter semesters at BYU- Idaho.  He was now a Sophomore!
We took some funny pictures of us driving over there, but I have no idea where they are.
We stopped in Idaho Falls and had a little fireside at Grandpa Judy's church.  Aunt Carolyn hosted a nice baked potato bar dinner and then Coelton showed a slide show and talked about his mission.  It was nice and a great closure for him and for all the family to hear, since not all of them could make it to the welcome home.  Coelton stayed at Nauvoo house again, and roomed with some guys from his mission.
He met up with CariAnne Alvarado and hung out with her and her roommate a lot...
