Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!  It was a Judy family reunion this year.  We all drove to Island Park and rented a beauty of a place.  It was perfect with 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms.   We had a great time together wtih Shalean in charge we played fun games, ate good food and made a cute craft. We even went on a Turkey trot one morning.  It was very beautiful. We wathed Snowball Express and had a Brian Regan night.

Just visiting and being around eachother was the best of all. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Boise Temple Youth Cultural Celebration

Look who came to Boise!!  President Monson and President Bednar! 

The Youth in our stake ages 14 -18 learned the waltz and performed in a cultural celebration at the Taco Bell Arena with 9,200 youth.  The largest celebration the church has seen. 

Practices were for weeks and on the day of the celebration Joel-( being the YM president had to go and be a chaperone),  Caden and Hailey all had to leave at 6:30am and didn't return until 10pm. 

Chloe and I had to go to our church building to watch it on the big screen in the chapel.  No one was allowed at the Taco Bell Arena- except a select few.  There was simply not enough room. 

The Boise temple was closed for approx 18 months for rennovations.  It was re-dedicated on November 17.  It is so beautiful and we were able to go to the temple openhouse as well to see the inside of the temple with the kids.

 

 

 

while FALL leaves were FALLING~

We went to utah for Jordan's 40th birthday party.  Just Joel and I went and we stayed at a hotel.  We had fun just being together and enjoying some peace and quiet.  Jordan and Melissa have a new house in Herriman.  It was very nice.  Most of the Hammer family came and Jordan was surprised to tears.

Hailey got her braces off !! 

The first snow of the season...just a feathering.  This was the day Caden ran at the Nike NXN race at Eagle Island.  Caden got that cool hat.  I love his goofiness and that he will mow the lawn in the snow and in shorts!  (November 10)

Yes, and I turned another year older. (November 13)

We went to dinner to Texas Roadhouse!   

I had to post some favorite preschool pics.  Cute little Oliver showing off his turkey!  I love that boy.  And shy Addison - who I have yet to get a good picture of.  She will be very happy and smiles, but as soon as she poses for a picture, nope! 

And Mr. Noah...did NOT want to be hopping rabbit for his Indian name.  This boy is jumping all the time!  I thought he would love his indian name...but he wanted to be mighty bear instead.  haha

 

Caden got his wisdom teeth out by Uncle Jason.  He was kind of sore for Thanksgiving Dinner.

 

 

H a r v e s t

Caden went to Harvest!!  A cute fellow XC runner asked him.  Her name is Kylan Nanney.  She came and decorated his truck and gave him a pumpkin with a question mark. 

He carved a big YES and put a candle in it and lit it up on her porch.  There was a big huge group that went.  The day date was lame...making cookies.  But the dance and the after party made up for it.   They ate at ihop because Red Robin, Texas Rhodehouse and Applebees couldn't seat everyone.

Caden loved the dance!  Go Caden, Go Caden, Go Caden.
